Travel to Frenchman's Cove Resort

Frenchman's Cove Resort is in the northeast corner of the Island in the parish of Portland. The Resort is approximately five miles east of the town of Port Antonio and is accessible by road or water.
International travelers can fly into Kingston or Montego Bay direct from London, or major cities of the USA and Canada. Upon arrival at Kingston, travelers can hire a taxi for approx. $120 US or arrange for regional air transportation for a fee of approx. $45 US per person. The taxi ride is about 2 1/2 hours to Frenchman's Cove while air travel is approximately 30 minutes to the Port Antonio airport.
Once at the Port Antonio airport, a taxi to the Resort is approximately $20 US. Montego Bay is in the range of $175 US with a 4 1/2 hr drive, while airfares are in the $50 US range. You can negotiate your own rates with taxis that are waiting as you exit the terminals. However, do negotiate a firm price before getting in.
